Any Tommy-Fans out there?
How do you think about his chances at the US Open?
He's doing pretty good after his recovery...

Here, another Tommy Haas fan!
German girls united wink

Tommy is a totally unpredictable player but I still don't think that he's got good chances during the US Open unsure

i think he can reach the quarters for sure in ny
if he has got a good thay he will be able to beat nearly everyone but he has always proplems with his shoulder so i doubt that he can go through the quarters at the us open.
although i hope the best for him wink

seriousely, i am a huge fan and always when tommy is injured, men´s tennis becomes boring...
but i think sometimes that tommy should retire. it might sound cruel, but i´m sure it is pretty cumbering if you have to cope with all these injuries. and for the fans, too. i mean tommy is a good player (he proved it lots of times) but you can´t make progress if there is always an injury stopping you.
tommy is my favorite player but his injuries makes me sad...

^ In my eyes it doesn't at all sound cruel. I think you're totally right. Not because I want Tommy to retire or because I don't want to see him anymore. Than I wouldn't be a fan. But I think it may be better to retire. There are too many injuries and there are always new injuries coming.
And I can also understand him. It can't be funny to play anymore when you know that you have to take a break every few months because you're injured again.

wahoo, tommy starts at the us open!!
but he said "i have no time to rest", thats why he plays there...i think it is stupid to play with a sholder injury...well but i think he knows best what he can do or not...

perhaps he and his shoulder can regenerate a bit wink

that was a hell of a 5th set!!! smile And when i think Blake had the match on his hands several times... Haas was more consistent, he was the best player. smile

Man, what a match it was... unbelievable... i was just sitting and watching this tennis for like 3.5 hour thinking: this is how tennis should be played! Great shots from both players, but in the end, in was the most technical talented player who won... very strong services on matchpoint down, Blake had no chance at all!

great atmosphere there as well _O_!!!

today: nole-monaco and henin-serena, ferrer-nadal. Too bad they last 2are vening matches, don't think i am gonna see them sad

^ I think boring Davydenko has no chance
