Ana has entered the inaugural Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open, a Premier 5 event that takes place in China during September 21-27.
The new event has prize money of $2,440,070 and effectively replaces the Tokyo tournament, with Tokyo becoming a smaller event and being staged a week earlier.
Wuhan is the birth city of Chinese world No.3 and two-time Grand Slam champion Na Li.
Ana's schedule for 2014 is therefore complete, save for the question of which year-end championships she will compete in: if she finishes in the top 10 (she is currently 6th in the Road To Singapore) she will head to Sinapore for the WTA Finals (the top 8 compete, with the next two highest ranked players travelling as alternates).
Were she to fail to finish in the Road To Singaproe top 10, Ana would be compelled to play the Tournament of Champions in Sofia.
Ana's schedule after the US Open contains, chronologically, Tokyo, Wuhan, Beijing, Linz and Singapore or Sofia.
