A growing maturity and poise has seen Ana Ivanovic make giant steps forward on just her second year as a professional.
Her most impressive performance saw her march to the quarter-finals of the French Open on her debut.
Ivanovic caused a major upset in the process, knocking out big French hope and number three seed Amelie Mauresmo.
The Frenchwoman admitted after their encounter that Ivanovic had toughened up in their fourth meeting of the year and was becoming much more difficult to beat.
It was Mauresmo who knocked the 17-year-old out of the Australian Open in the third round, where Ivanovic again impressed in her first Melbourne appearance.
The Serbian also captured her first singles title in Canberra and reached the last eight in Miami and the last four in Warsaw.
Ivanovic could yet take Wimbledon by storm on her debut at the All England Club.
