Ana takes on world No.19 Daniela Hantuchova in the third round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami on Sunday. It will be the seventh meeting between the pair; Ana has won four of the previous six.
The Slovakian triumphed 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 during their last encounter, on the grass of Birmingham in June of last year.
Curiously, none of the previous six matches have taken place on outdoor hard courts: Ana's memorable three-set win in the semi-finals of the 2008 Australian Open, where she recovered from a 6-0, 2-0 deficit, took place with the roof closed over Rod Laver Arena.
Hantuchova won through to round three by beating Kateryna Bondarenko of the Ukraine 6-7, 6-2, 7-6.
"Daniela and I have had some very tough matches over the years," said Ana. "I remember a lot of them very clearly. Even though I've won most of our matches, it has never been easy and it's going to be a big challenge for me on Sunday."
Just a few months prior to Ana's amazing comeback in Melbourne, she recovered from an even greater deficit to beat the 28-year-old in the Luxembourg final: Ana triumphed in three sets having trailed by a set and 3-0.
The match is scheduled to take place sometime after 3pm local time (9pm Central European Time) on the Stadium Court. Click here for live point-by-point scoring from Crandon Park.
