Following her hugely impressive 6-3, 6-0 win over 21st seed Jie Zheng on Wednesday, Ana takes on France's Virginie Razzano in the third round of the US Open on Friday.
The match will be the third meeting between the pair, with the head-to-head record tied at 1-1. Razzano beat Ana in three sets in Antwerp five years ago, while Ana scored a three-set victory in Sydney in 2008.
Razzano reached round three courtesy of an upset 7-5, 6-4 over compatriot and 13th seed Marion Bartoli. She is currently ranked 157 in the world and entered this tournament thanks to a wild card.
Ana said: "She has a good all-round game with not many weaknesses. Her serve is good and we've had tough matches in the past.
"At this stage of a Grand Slam you have to be at your best or near to it if you want to win and I'm expecting a tough match."
