Ana takes on world No.161 Virginie Razzano of France in the first round of the Championships at Wimbledon on Monday. It will be the fourth meeting between the pair, with Ana leading the head-to-head series 5-1.
They met less than a month ago, when Ana triumphed 6-3, 6-2 in the third round of the French Open. Razzano won the first meeting, in 2005 when Ana was aged 17, but Ana has won the past five matches.
Razzano qualified for the grass court Grand Slam and is a former Eastbourne finalist. Her best showing at Wimbledon is a fourth round finish in 2009.
The 29-year-old Frenchwoman boasts wins over Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Agnieszka Radwanska over the past four years.
"Even though her ranking isn’t so high it’s definitely not an easy draw,” said Ana. "She is very dangerous and on a surface like grass I think she is a tough opponent.
"She can play very good attacking tennis and put you on the back foot, so it’s important that I start aggressive from the first point and don’t allow her a chance to get on top."
