Ana will take on world No.63 Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Saturday. It will be the first meeting between the pair.
Sevastova reached the second round in California thanks to a 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 victory over Spanish qualifier Nuria Llagostera Vives on Thursday. She is in good form, having reached the semi-finals of the Monterrey last week, where she beat top seed Jelena Jankovic.
