Dear Ana (and Team)

Dear Ana (and Team)

First of all let me congratulate you on a very successful 2005. I remember seeing you at the Australian Open last year and you have improved so much more now. Although the Hopman Cup may not be as big as other Tier 1 events, I hope it will be a spring board for further success this year. As history has shown, the Hopman Cup has been a good warm up tournament for many players such as Hingis, Seles and your favourite, Federer.

Congratulations also to your management and support team. This is one of the best player sites I've visited and I'm glad that you try and maintain communication and contact with your fans. I enjoyed reading about your background, as well as the diary entries that you make. As you continue to rise in your rankings, popularity, and no doubt, commitment to other engagements, I hope you will also continue to keep in touch with your fans.

Finally, I hope you don't mind me asking a little question. I\'ve seen you play a number of matches now and have observed you always like to step on ball marks on the court, most often before you serve. My guess is its a habit or "superstition" (as all players have), but what is the story behind it?

I hope to hear from you soon. Keep up the good work and all the best for 2006!

Kindest regards,

Daniel Law
