Former world No.1 Martina Hingis, Ana’s opponent in today’s Rogers Cup final, is not underestimating the 18-year-old.
“She’s a very good player, very high potential,” said Hingis, who has never before played Ana. “She’s definitely impressed this week.
“You can see she’s training really hard. She has the fitness and a new coach and it must be working for her.”
Ana, who spent yesterday's rain delay listening to music and playing table football and table tennis with her coach David Taylor in the players’ lounge, confessed that she suffered from nerves during the pause in play.
“Not knowing when the match was going to start made it tough,” said Ana, who eventually http://www.anaivanovic.com/?path=news/ticker&lang=en&matchdetail=34

“But it was the same for both of us. I’m very happy with how I played the three games because they were very important. I'm just so happy to be in the final."
The final, which begins at 2pm local time (8pm Central European Time), will be screened live on Eurosport 2. Delayed coverage will be shown on Eurosport at 11.30pm CET.
