Ana has been drawn against world No.103 Olga Poutchkova in the first round of the Wismilak International, which begins on Monday. She has never before played the 18-year-old Russian.
Given that Poutchkova has only ever won one match on the main tour, Ana will be a strong favourite to progress to the second round, where she would face a qualifier.
Ana, who is the No.4 seed, could face world No.25 Marion Bartoli in the quarter-finals. Her seeded semi-final opponent is No.2 Patty Schnyder.
World No.7 Svetlana Kuznetsova is the top seed. Defending champion Lindsay Davenport also resides in the top half of the draw and cannot play Ana until the final.
Ana has no points to defend from the corresponding week in 2005. She is expected to move to No.15 in the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour rankings when they are published on Monday.
