Rain delays Ana-Clijsters match

Ana's mouthwatering clash with second seed and defending champion Kim Clijsters was postponed overnight on Monday due to persistent rain falling on Crandon Park in Miami.

The pair's Sony Ericsson Open fourth round match is now scheduled as the fourth match on the Stadium court on Tuesday. Play begins at 11am local time (5pm Central European Time), with the second scheduled match re-commencing mid-way through the third set. Ana is unlikely to take to the court before 3pm local time (9pm Central European Time).

The 23-year-old is also scheduled to appear in doubles action on Tuesday. Alongside Andrea Petkovic, she will take on Shuai Peng and Shahar Peer for a place in the semi-finals.
