Ana’s ranking is unchanged at six in the latest Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles ranking list, which is published today. She remains at No.3 in the Race to the Sony Ericsson Championships.

Ana has 96pts to defend from last year’s Wimbledon Championships, in which she reached the fourth round. She is currently 246pts behind fifth-ranked Svetlana Kuznetsova.

The ranking points breakdown for the grass court Grand Slam is as follows: First round, 2pts; Second round, 60pts; Third round, 90pts; Fourth round, 140pts; Quarter-finals, 250pts; Semi-finals, 450pts; Runner-up, 700pts; Winner, 1000pts.
