Tough draw for Ana and Maria

Ana and Maria Kirilenko have been drawn to play top seeds Liezel Huber and Martina Navratilova in the first round of the J&S Cup doubles competition in Warsaw.

Huber is the current doubles world No.5, while 49-year-old Navratilova has won a record 174 doubles titles.

Were they to overcome the hugely experienced pairing, Ana and Maria would face either Iveta Benesova and Michaella Krajicek or Marta Domachowska and Janette Husarova. Russians Elena Likhovtseva and Anastasia Myskina are the third seeds and possible semi-final opponents.

This is the second time that Ana and Maria are playing together, having reached the semi-finals of the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo in February.

Meanwhile, Ana's first round singles match against Marta Domachowska has been scheduled as the third match on the Central Court today. It is expected to start at 3pm Central European Time.
