Ana records win #56 Oct 7th 2014

Ana reached the second round of the Generali Ladies Linz with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Frenchwoman Pauline Parmentier.

It was the 56nd win of the year for Ana, extending her career-best record.

She required a medical timeout for a long-standing hip injury when trailing 2-1 in the second set, but was undeterred and emerged victorious after 67 minutes.
