Ana refuses to look too far ahead Jun 2nd 2007

After beating Raluca-Ioana Olaru 6-2, 6-0, a result that assured Ana’s entry into the fourth round for the loss of just nine games, Ana faced a barrage of questions regarding her chances of reaching the latter stages of Roland Garros.

Ana reached the third round of Roland Garros with another convincing straight-sets win. The seventh seed outclassed world No.122 Raluca-Ioana Olaru 6-2, 6-0 in 65 minutes.

She eventually found her rhythm and seized control of the match, winning the next 10 games.

Ask Ana #55 May 28th 2007

candarch: Hi Ana! First congratulations to you on the victory in Berlin and entering the top 10. My question is: When you are at home do you sometimes cook by yourself? If so, what is your favourite meal?
Ana: Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t have time to do to much cooking but probably the food I cook the most is fajitas. It’s a very simple dish so it doesn’t take much skill!
