We caught up with Ana’s strength and conditioning coach http://www.anaivanovic.com/?path=news&tablepage=12&detailpage=401
" >Scott Byrnes
Gavin Versi: Hi Scott. Could you start by telling us what you did before you began working with Ana?
manon: Hi Ana: Will you come back to the Wismilak Tournament next year? You lost too soon but did you enjoy the tournament? (the player party...) I would love to see you next year because I live in Bali.
Ana: My schedule for next year is not decided so I don’t know. I thought that Bali was an amazing place. We are very lucky as professional tennis players because we get to see the world and many great places. The scenery in Bali is unbelievable, but very different to what I have seen elsewhere. It is definitely one of the most exotic places I have ever been to.
Bernice Ng: Hi Ana! Who's your favourite player now?
Ana: Still Federer! His game is just amazing, the way he moves and the shots he can play. He is also a great guy.
David_Rose: What's the most annoying question people ask you?
Shreenidhi: Hi Ana, who is your favourite actor?? And what is(are) your favourite movie(s)??
Ana: I would probably say that my favourites actors are Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino; actresses would be Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron. My favourite film is The Da Vinci Code. I like thrillers.
poochini: What do you think about Daniela Hantuchova?
Ana: Daniela is one of the nicest girls in tennis. We get on very well and had a lot of fun filming the Sony Ericsson commercial some months ago.
Ana’s is unchanged at No.15 in the latest Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles rankings, which are published today. There are no changes to her doubles or Porsche Race positions either: they stay at 50 and 14 respectively.
Elsewhere in the singles lists there are several significant changes. Russian Dinara Safina climbs to a career best ranking of tenth, replacing Nicole Vaidisova, who drops to No.12. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Alona Bondarenko, who won in Luxembourg, soars 29 places to a new high of No.33.
Ana has been forced to withdraw from next week's Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart because of a ruptured tendon in her right shoulder.
“I’m really disappointed that I can’t play in Stuttgart,” said Ana. “It is one of the best organised and most fun tournaments on the Tour.
“My shoulder has been hurting. I wasn’t able to serve at 100 per cent against Venus and I felt pain when I practiced this morning. The most important thing is not to make it worse, so I decided to withdraw. I couldn’t play like this.”
The Tennis Channel in America has placed Ana on the shortlist its for "hotties" award, an online poll of the best looking tennis players.
The poll features a total of 11 players: strangely, Serena and Venus Williams have been grouped together. Ana's doubles partner Maria Kirilenko is the current leader.
The top five will be announced on the next edition of The Tennis Channel's Open Access programme. Click here to vote.

We are inviting applicants for an online ‘internship’ lasting approximately 30 hours, to be completed anytime over a period of two weeks. The duties are mainly research-based, but the intern will have at least two articles published on the site.
We would like applicants to have had some previous journalistic experience. This unpaid role would suit an individual who wishes to gain experience of the professional sports media.
