Ana is featured in the “20 questions” section of the new issue of Australian Tennis Magazine. Her answers, given to journalist Barry Wood, are reproduced here:
What is the greatest benefit of being famous?
Being seen as a role model. It's a lot of responsibility, but it's probably one of the biggest honours you can receive. On a less serious note, it's nice to be able to book restaurants at short notice!
Prior to the Generali Ladies Linz the two most senior members of Ana's mangement company were interviewed by Austrian publication Sportmagazin about her return to the upper echelons of women's tennis.
The following is a translated extract of their interview:
You’ve known Ana since she was 14 years old. How would you characterise Ana as a person?
Ana is featured in the new issue of Helo! Serbia.
The following is a translated transcript of the interview she gave:
You've reached the top 10 of the rankings. You've noticeably improved your game, it seems like you shine on the field and enjoy playing. What motivates you and how do you regenerate for the new challenges?
Thanks. I simply love to compete – that has always been my motivation. I enjoy it so much. I am motivated by the challenge of competing against the top players. I always challenge myself to be better.
Ana recently gave an interview to Swiss newspaper Basler Zeitung. The following is an extract from the question-and-answer session:
You are Serbian, but since you were 14, you’ve lived in Switzerland. Nowadays you still live in Basel. Can you tell us why exactly Basel?
Ana recently gave an interview to wimbledon.com about the grass court Grand Slam. It is reproduced here:
Why I love Wimbledon: “It’s such a special tournament. Everything about it is unique, like nothing else we have in tennis. I fell in love with it the first time I visited as a junior – it definitely lived up to my expectations.”
