Ana recently gave an interview to The Daily Telegraph, the biggest-selling quality newspaper in Britain.
The following is an extract from the Q & A interview:
What would you be doing if you hadn't made it in the sport?
It’s very hard to say, because I dreamed of being a professional when I was quite young. But I would like to think I would be doing something academic, maybe related to psychology, or languages – I have a passion for both.
How do you relax before a big game in the dressing room?
Reading, listening to music on my iPod and sometimes playing sudoku.
Are you superstitious?
I used to be very superstitious but I am trying to avoid that these days and be more relaxed. Still, I avoid stepping on the lines of the court. But I am not following some of my old superstitions, for example wearing lucky outfits or going to the same place for dinner.
